The electricity will come from the solar panels on the roof and will feed to a regulator that is connected to batteries on the floor. Power will then flow to an inverter that will change the electricity from DC (battery power) to AC (socket power). (I can give you a more thorough explanation, but didn't want to bore with technical details about the different kinds of electricity...) The laptops will run from there!
